Little Steven Favourites. Big feature in press and radio now. The band was formed in Stockholm, Sweden, in early 2006 by members from the bands Eager Beaver and Cool Jerks. They took the name "Stupidity" from the great Solomon Burke song, a common favourite of the members. After recording a couple of demos and doing their first shows during 2006, the band recorded their debut album “I Need You… Like A Hole In My Head” which was released in September 2007. The musical influences are garage rock, classic rock, soul, and rockabilly - all played with a punk attitude. The Who, The Sonics, Johnny Burnette plus stuff from Stax and Tamla Motown are some of the favourites. In June they did their first US-tour which included shows and radio in three states. 1.
